Skid Steer Tracks
Made to fit any Model. OTT rubber tracks are available for most models of skidsteers. This simple conversion adds traction, floatation and usability just like the conventional tracked machines at a much lower cost. This simplicity eliminates maintenance costs for idlers; rollers; sprockets and other undercarriage components on conventional track machines. These attachments can be quickly removed and swapped to other machines or to allow the skidsteer to
operate on rubber tires.
Ott tracks have been tested in a variety of soils and working
conditions
Shown here they are working in rock and shale around quarries and rivers.
The extra ground coverage of the track provide a lighter foot print of the machine as well as a smoother ride over boulders and rough terrain. Water and wet conditions do not affect the rubber track as the thick covering of rubber provides protection to the metal parts of the track so they do not rust.
Landscaping is one of the largest uses of the tracks as the
lower ground pressure
and profile of the tracks lessens the soil disturbance caused by tires in turns and spinning on the turf. There are other advantages for landscape and cleanup jobs in that the floatation provided by the tracks allows the machine to climb up on stock piles and berms where tires normally create ruts and holes.
You will find these tracks on construction sites because of
their versatility
on the
job. These sites are often muddy
and exposed earth is often made up of clays and slippery compounds that the traction provided by these tracks handles very well.
